We believe that consciously contemplating our inevitable death leaves us enriched and energized and more strongly connected to ourselves and others. Why You’re Reading This Document
You are registered to participate in WILLOW’s Legacy, Love Letters + Heart Wills retreat taking place in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico from October 30 to November 5 2019.
We want to make sure you’re aware of how WILLOW can assist and empower you and be clear on what WILLOW will not and cannot do for you.
WILLOW Services are to design and facilitate opportunities for you to learn about yourself; to support you to get into action; and to share with you information we’ve gathered. WILLOW makes no representations that it offers any professional services in any area outside of the core competency of its business, chiefly advising and guiding people to make meaningful decisions surrounding their life, end of life, and death, and does not represent or warrant that it has any expertise in the legal, accounting, financial planning, insurance, or healthcare fields.
In offering the services, WILLOW is simply facilitating your thought process about important decisions that you’ll be making. We are not making any decisions for you and you acknowledge that you are fully responsible for any and all decisions that you make, no matter the outcome.
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify WILLOW and any of its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents and assigns (the “Indemnified Parties”) from any and all claims brought against any of the Indemnified Parties arising from events or workshops provided by WILLOW.
Release of Liability: You and any of your heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns forever release and discharge WILLOW from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands which are based upon, arise out of or occur, directly or indirectly, by reason of any act or omission by you, unless WILLOW has contributed to such liability by an act of gross negligence.
Intellectual Property Ownership: All logos, trademarks, photo and/or video assets, training and/or teaching materials, and all other intellectual property that we create or utilize in connection with a WILLOW workshop or event and with WILLOW (the “Intellectual Property”) is the sole and exclusive property of WILLOW and is for your personal use only.
Media Release: You agree to grant WILLOW the irrevocable right and permission to use, throughout the world and in perpetuity, images, video content, motion pictures, photographs, videotapes, recordings or any other record of the Workshop that we or any of our officers, directors, employees or agents have created, for any purpose, including commercial use. Note that we will not
photograph you in a way that you will be recognizable, or use your name anywhere, without asking for your permission first.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
We sure hope that once your reserve your spot for this retreat you’ll be able to attend! However, if for some reason you have to cancel your reservation, here’s what will happen:
If you cancel your reservation by September 1st WILLOW will refund you in full, less a US$50 processing fee.
If you cancel after September 1st, WILLOW will keep half of your fee unless we can find a person to fill your spot, in which case WILLOW will only keep $100 processing fee and return the balance to you.
If WILLOW must cancel the program you will receive 2 weeks notice, and a full refund. Please check with your airline about its cancellation policy. WILLOW is not responsible for travel reservations booked to attend cancelled programs.
